This is a farm in Moorea. When we rented a car and drove around the island, I was taking a picture of one of the bays near here and saw this on the way back to the car. This is one of those images that I didn’t really think anything of until I saw it on the computer. Now it is growing on me with every viewing. One of the interesting things about French Polynesia is that the land is owned by families and it is very rare for a family member to sell any of the land. As a result, it is likely that almost all the land you see in this photograph is owned by a single family.
